FIRE RELIEF
Our Exploring the Arts Intern, Amerie, leads a Zine-making Skillshares during the Altadena Not For Sale event at Fair Oaks Burger community event in the Winter of 2025.
Side Street Projects is deeply saddened by the loss and devastation our communities in the Altadena and Pasadena areas are experiencing following the Eaton Fire. Despite the challenges, it has been inspiring to witness the strength and unity of our community coming together to support one another.

Side Street Projects is heavy-hearted by the loss and devastation that our communities of Altadena, Pasadena, and the greater Los Angeles area are experiencing. In this heartbreak, we see our community coming together, holding each other, and supporting one another.
Many of Side Street Project’s staff members and Teaching Artists have lost their homes and need emergency support. Each person plays a vital role in keeping the organization's wheels running and heart thriving. They need us now more than ever. We have consolidated their GoFundMe’s on this Google sheet.
Please donate what you can, whether big or small; it will make a great impact on the lives of our beloveds in need, to help them through this challenging time. Please share their fundraisers, as well.
We have grouped fire relief resources in one location and organized them by category. Please email stephanie@sidestreet.org if you wish to add to the list. Thank you.
REGIONAL ARTS TOWN HALL
In February 2025, Side Street Projects and the Armory Center for the Arts collaborated to host a regional town hall in person and via Zoom. The meeting explores a holistic approach to supporting Pasadena and Altadena’s creative cultural sector after the Eaton Fire. We discussed available resources, and how to navigate them, and took time to connect and hold space together as a community.
