Camp Build: A Week of Woodworking & Creative Discovery (Ages 5–15)

  • Gamble House 4 Westmoreland Place Pasadena, CA, 91103 United States (map)

In partnership with the Gamble House, Camp Build is a week-long summer program where young makers (ages 5–15) get to build, explore, and create every day through hands-on woodworking and creative discovery.

Each day includes 2 hours of woodworking in our mobile woodworking classroom, where students use real hand tools in a safe, guided environment to build projects from start to finish. After woodworking, students will continue their hands-on learning through 1 hour of art activities inspired by architecture and nature at the Gamble House. Over the week, young makers will spend 15 hours of camp time building creativity, confidence, and community.

Side Street Projects' mission is to give artists of all ages the ability and means to support their creative endeavors. We are devoted to community-centered artists through community-led programming that promotes creativity, well-being, and the potential for collective growth.

To support this mission, we offer a sliding scale so families can choose a tuition level that reflects their financial reality. Please be mindful when selecting that there are limited discounted spots available. We rely on paid tickets to continue providing free programming throughout the year.
