Judith Teitelman brings more than 20 years of experience helping grassroots, mid-sized and large organizations strengthen their resource generating capacities. Clients span the full range of arts disciplines (visual arts, multi- and interdisciplinary arts, literary arts, theater, dance, music and media) and include social service and educational organizations, municipal and other government agencies, as well as funders.

Between 1994 and 1996, Judith served as a Planning Consultant to the National Endowment for the Arts Advancement Program: assisting organizations in a process of self-assessment, financial and statistical data review, strategic long-range planning, and participating in the development of regional and national seminars and workshops. In 1998, she contributed to "Lessons Learned," a web project of the NEA designed to capture the knowledge and resources exchanged through its Advancement Program, and more recently, wrote a Case Study analysis as part of the Toolsite's expansion. The Los Angeles County Arts Commission contracted Ms. Teitelman as a Technical Assistance Specialist for more than a decade, and she worked with the Flintridge Foundation's Nonprofit Leadership Program in a similar capacity during the program’s four-year history.

In addition, Ms. Teitelman is a highly regarded and sought after speaker. She is a regular trainer at Los Angeles' Center for Nonprofit Management, the Whitecap Foundation's Executive Management Academy, and Long Beach's Nonprofit Partnership, among others.

Judith Teitelman began her career in the nonprofit sector as part of the fundraising team that built the Los Angeles Theater Center, a four-theater multidisciplinary complex in the heart of the city’s downtown. Subsequent senior staff positions with Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) and the Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) further honed her skills, giving her the opportunity to spearhead both annual and capital fundraising campaigns and involving her in all aspects of nonprofit management.
